Welcome to the world's largest collection of patches, flashes and challenge coins related to the U.S Air Force Rescue Wings, Squadrons & Pararescue Units. WARNING: NO ITEM IS FOR SALE.
This is in reference to the original Cheshire Cat Patch...orange patch, purple Cat, saying "we're all mad you know". I designed that illustration and painted it on my barracks door during training. Our class had patches made. This was back in 1971 at Eglin AFB, FL.
That's a great story! Do you still have the original drawings of it? We have that patch among other Cheshire Cat patches in the collection as well, check it out: http://usafrescue.blogspot.com/
It is possible that this patch design was originally designed by some of the guys from the 24th but it was pretty used broadly as a morale patch by different PJs along with the teams.
I´m constantly searching for original challenge coins, moral and issued patches, badges and more. Please don´t hesitate to contact me if you are willing to sell something. I buy!
