This Kaman Pin was given to the crew members after a rescue was made in the HH-43B/F Kaman. Usually came with a certificate indicating that the recipient was added to the Kaman Scroll of Honor. They used to publish the list and some of the missions in their magazine. I think it was “Rotor Tips”.

Fully-filled gaggle patch representing the four squadrons of the 48th Fighter Wing: 492d Fighter Squadron, 493d Fighter Squadron, 494th Fighter Squadron, and 56th Rescue Squadron plus the Guardian Angel unit designation of the 56th Rescue Squadron. The "Wing King" is the wing commander. Guardian Angel squadrons are the USAF's human/equipment-based weapon system that executes all five tasks of personnel recovery - report, locate, support, recover and reintegrate and consists of pararescuemen, survival specialists, and combat rescue officers.

The 48th Fighter Wing is based at RAF Lakenheath. It controls all of the squadrons on the base these being the 492nd FS (F-15E, nicknamed the Bolars), the 493rd FS (F-15C/D nicknamed the Reapers) & the 494th FS (F-15E nicknamed the Panthers), along with the Rescue Squadrons when they were there until 2018.

This is a brand new patch made in July/August 2018 for the 321st STS. VERY hard to find! 

The 321st Special Tactics Squadron (321st STS) is an active ground unit, within the 752d Special Operations Group (752 SOG), United States Air Force, United States European Command, and is based at Royal Air Force station, RAF Mildenhall, in Suffolk, eastern England.

This squadron, combined with the unit's sister airborne units in the 752d Special Operations Group, allows the group to be capable of handling situations within a 4,300 km (2,700 mi) range of RAF Mildenhall, or further with fuel stops, and make up the special operations forces element of the United States Air Forces in Europe. Their specialized training and support structure make them a very versatile unit.

The 321st STS provides a Quick reaction, Rapid deployment force to establish and provide air-to-ground control during special operations or conventional missions. Its Combat Controllers and Pararescuemen conduct the reconnaissance, surveillance, assessment, and creation of assault zone sites and provide air traffic control and long-range secure command and control missions. They also provide combat trauma medical care, personnel recovery and terminal attack control of munitions delivered by fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. The squadron also has special operations weathermen assigned to provide weather support for other military forces.

This patch dates back to the early space shuttle mission support, as the 41st ARS was active from June 1989 to February 1993, so this dates the patch fairly accurately. One of the first shuttle patches worn by the 41st over the years.

The 125th Special Tactics Squadron is a squadron of the United States Air National Guard based in Portland, Oregon. Located at the Portland International Airport that is part of the 142nd Fighter Wing. Special Operations Weather Team (SOWT) members at the 125 STS have the unique requirement to integrate fully into the existing combat controller (CCT) team structure, as well as perform the historical function of Special Operations Weather support to all special operations forces (SOF) capable military units, particularly Army Special Forces. Members of the 125th Special Tactics Squadron benefit from the extensive knowledge of their information technology support staff and these assets are considered "force multipliers" by both Pararescuemen and combat control team members. A very elite group of special operations forces that include Air Force combat controllers and pararescuemen that have a unique skill set in this time of need.
