We need you! Support this great cause.

We normally don't post much about fundraising activities in the Blog, except the TOML and PJ Associations, but in this case, we can't let pass this opportunity to introduce you to one of the most active members of the PJ family ever, a friend, a brother, blog collaborator and most important a badass PJ hero Mr. Chipper Williams.

Chipper participated in numerous fundraising events over the lasts decades and his active participation and collaboration in different social and fundraising activities are well known in the PJ community. Who had the opportunity to know him knows that Chipper is a person that literally lives by the motto so "That Others May Live". Absolutely founded by the collaboration of people who believes that he makes a difference for the SOF veteran community, Chipper sold or put on auction personal belongings in order to collect money for their cause.  This is an effort that should be recognized by all who belongs to the PJ family and for whoever wants to support the SOF community and wants to make a real difference in order to help other veterans.

Always with new ideas to help their brothers with war disabilities, PTSD or simply to keep the morale of veterans who served this nation with honor and sacrifice, Chipper is raising money now for another great cause. If you believe in what we do here in the Blog to preserve the Heraldry of the USAF Rescue history, you should believe in this great cause that Chipper wants to achieve now and for that, we need YOU!

"In an effort to follow “Love your Neighbor as Yourself”, I have been on a personal mission to help my USAF Special Operations Veteran Brothers in any way and where ever they need me to help. I have traveled the country to help my Brothers, aided a PJ Classmate in the post-brain surgery care and recovery in California, took care of a PJ’s business so he could return home to his mother who was dying of cancer, spent a summer assisted a PJ brother after his house burn-down with no insurance, visited and arraigned visits for other PJs to visit a Brother dying of cancer in Las Vegas, pulled a fellow PJ out from “under the radar” who had cancer surgery and diagnosed with congestive heart failure; I flew him out of Tennessee and took him on a ski trip to Taos during their Military Appreciation Week.  My plan on taking more Brothers and family to Taos 2019 Military Appreciation Week is my new goal for raising money for that now. Some of my Special Operations Veteran Brothers “fall through a crack” and they just need a little help to get back on track. That’s where I come in. I am a Disabled Veteran with the time to help but, I lack the money.  I will reach out to any and all others they need help so "that others may live". Chipper Williams

Please help Chipper's endeavor to really make a change through this link HERE. Even the smallest donation is a great help for the cause.

Thank you for your kindness and help sincerely.

USAF 303rd RQS / Arizona / CSAR / Centennial Patch

USAF 303rd Rescue Squadron / Arizona / Combat Rescue / Centennial Patch
This is a rare patch from the 303er RQS in commemoration of the centennial of the state of Arizona who became officially the State of Arizona on February 14, 1912. Arizona was the 48th state. Really hard to find patch.

The 303d Expeditionary Rescue Squadron is a provisional unit of the United States Air Force. It is permanently deployed to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti. It was reactivated in 2013 as a forward deployed umbrella organization for rotational Sikorsky HH-60 Pave Hawk and pararescue/Guardian Angel combat search and rescue units of the Air Force Reserve deployed to U.S. Africa Command, specifically to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.

From 1997 until 2003, the then-303d Rescue Squadron was a Lockheed HC-130 Combat King squadron, part of the Air Force Reserve Command's 939th Rescue Wing at Portland Air Reserve Station at Portland International Airport, Oregon. When the 939th transitioned to an air refueling mission with the KC-135 Stratotanker and became the 939th Air Refueling Wing, the 303d was inactivated. As part of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission process, the 939 ARW was itself inactivated in June 2008.

The 303d was reactivated in 2013 as an expeditionary rescue squadron for rotational Air Force Reserve Sikorsky HH-60G Pave Hawk and pararescue/Guardian Angel units deployed to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA). The squadron replaced Heavy Marine Helicopter Squadron 464 (HMH-464) Detachment A

USAF Pararescue Guardian Angel / Jessica Rabbit / Desert Tan Patch

USAF Pararescue Guardian Angel / Jessica Rabbit / Green Feet / Desert Tan Patch
This is a great patch, very detailed featuring the cartoon character of sexy Jessica Rabbit from the classic 80's movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" among the original Guardian Angel design with the built-in Green Feet over Desert Tan color background. Great patch!

USAF 303rd ERQS / Jolly Green / Rescue Patch

USAF 303rd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron / Jolly Green / Rescue Patch
This patch was made & designed for the crews from the 305th ERQS for a deployment to Djibouti in 2016. The 303rd are made up from deployed crews who TDY for 90-day rotations. A very detailed patch.

Airmen from the 303rd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron conduct a casualty evacuation exercise in conjunction with a refueling exercise with the 81st Expeditionary Rescue Squadron Mar 12, 2015, at Grand Bara, Djibouti. The 81st ERQS provided a forward arming and refueling point allowing the 303rd ERQS to refuel the HH-60 Pave Hawk with engines still running, enabling them to fly missions almost non-stop.

USAF 56th RQS / Jolly Green / OCP Color / PVC Patch

USAF 56th Rescue Squadron / Jolly Green / Operational Camo Pattern Color / PVC Patch
This patch was made in spring 2018 for the move from RAF Lakenheath to Aviano, & crews were seen wearing them at both bases. Not an easy patch to find & a great variation to the PVC patches.

A flight of 4 get ready for a training flight, a rare sight as the 56th RQS only ever operated 5 HH-60G's & was the smallest unit flying HH-60's in the USAF.

USAF 56th RQS / Black Version PVC Patch

USAF 56th Rescue Squadron / Black Version / Glow in the Dark PVC Patch
Shortly before the 56th RQS moved to Aviano, Italy in middle 2018; the squadron designed this PVC Black Version patch that it's pretty rare and hard to find. This one was given by HH-60G Pave Hawk pilots during their last air show in Lakenheath, UK in early 2018.
