We normally don't post much about fundraising activities in the Blog, except the TOML and PJ Associations, but in this case, we can't let pass this opportunity to introduce you to one of the most active members of the PJ family ever, a friend, a brother, blog collaborator and most important a badass PJ hero Mr. Chipper Williams.
Chipper participated in numerous fundraising events over the lasts decades and his active participation and collaboration in different social and fundraising activities are well known in the PJ community. Who had the opportunity to know him knows that Chipper is a person that literally lives by the motto so "That Others May Live". Absolutely founded by the collaboration of people who believes that he makes a difference for the SOF veteran community, Chipper sold or put on auction personal belongings in order to collect money for their cause. This is an effort that should be recognized by all who belongs to the PJ family and for whoever wants to support the SOF community and wants to make a real difference in order to help other veterans.
Always with new ideas to help their brothers with war disabilities, PTSD or simply to keep the morale of veterans who served this nation with honor and sacrifice, Chipper is raising money now for another great cause. If you believe in what we do here in the Blog to preserve the Heraldry of the USAF Rescue history, you should believe in this great cause that Chipper wants to achieve now and for that, we need YOU!
"In an effort to follow “Love your Neighbor as Yourself”, I have been on a personal mission to help my USAF Special Operations Veteran Brothers in any way and where ever they need me to help. I have traveled the country to help my Brothers, aided a PJ Classmate in the post-brain surgery care and recovery in California, took care of a PJ’s business so he could return home to his mother who was dying of cancer, spent a summer assisted a PJ brother after his house burn-down with no insurance, visited and arraigned visits for other PJs to visit a Brother dying of cancer in Las Vegas, pulled a fellow PJ out from “under the radar” who had cancer surgery and diagnosed with congestive heart failure; I flew him out of Tennessee and took him on a ski trip to Taos during their Military Appreciation Week. My plan on taking more Brothers and family to Taos 2019 Military Appreciation Week is my new goal for raising money for that now. Some of my Special Operations Veteran Brothers “fall through a crack” and they just need a little help to get back on track. That’s where I come in. I am a Disabled Veteran with the time to help but, I lack the money. I will reach out to any and all others they need help so "that others may live". Chipper Williams
